Ivy Fuld

Currently 22 (rapidly hitting that quarter-life crisis you keep hearing about), and working as a Development Assistant for The Jacob Burns Film Center in Pleasantville, NY (amazing place to work www.burnsfilmcenter.org). Like most movie bloggers, I am intensely, passionately, in love with film. Getting to work everyday, surrounded by movies and people who want to learn more about film is amazing, and I feel very fortunate. I spend a lot of time on my own film blog, do you have a flag? (http://cheerfuld.blogspot.com), constantly trying to make it better and hopefully inspire more people to go see good movies! I am addicted to having readers, and I love commentary and feedback!

It’s likely that James Gray’s Two Lovers would have gotten a lot less attention had it not been for Joaquin Phoenix’s sudden downward spiral, lengthy beard, and subsequent turn to the rap industry, but beyond the Phoenix press fest, this is actually a film worth your attention.
