I agree, the game doom had a better story than the film doom. I think it still needed expanding, as it was still a run and gun game, but it was a lot more interesting than the genetically modified story they came up with...

They can&#039;t seem to get it right. When games have good stories, they ruin it. When they have bad stories...well they still ruin it.</description>

Doom actually had quiet a lot of interesting facts behind the scene if u took the time to read everything. 
The movie just went well fuk the story were going to make up some other BS story of our own to work well on film. It it copied was the fact that it had a chain gun and was based on mars?!?! The monsters wernt even the same as the game. The ones from the game came from hell, the ones in the movie were genetically created!
The hell factor was the the key to making the game so interesting. 
Same story like with final fantasy how the hell did that tied in with the games (unless i missed something)???
