It takes the support of modern day science, philosophy and the theme of new earth and new heaven spoken of in the book of Apocalypse, mixed with Noah's ark story. Towards the end of the film Noah's ark is represented by a UFO like et planet where Caleb and Abby (not related to each other) can be thought of as progenitor of a new generation along with a pair of rabbits representing new world animals. in the yellow glow at the end of the movie running towards a tree (can it be a tree of knowledge?)The men who later assume the form of energy hint at the resurrected bodies which are not supposed to be physical-human bodies). ‘Knowing’ is a mixture of sci-fi and the book of revelation. Best scene in the film. Now i know there must be some intelligence in the States but i mean come on the movie was ok , they couldnt even pick up a bible and refrence a verse correctly, Then you see bloddy ALiens What a load of SHITE! Where do i line up to get back the time i lost watching this movie. It was ok but spectacular effects make sure you watch the plane crash! But its more a tv movie i feel. Nick cage acted ok he wasnt awefull. But why is it that since The 1996 movie inderpendance day film they only ever show destruction of the USA and play that once the us is destroyed its the end of life as we know.... Bahh Cant wait to see Star Trek and The new terminator film As allways the only good movies come out mid and end year!
