I watched this last night and it really got under my skin to the point where I was thinking about moving in with my cousin and her family while my husband is away so I wouldnt be alone. Very eerie and realistic film, havent been able to stop thinking about it. Big thumbs up to Joel Anderson for an incredible achievement!! Totally agree with Jayvee and KatieP. The whole time I thought there was a genuine footage added to the movie. One of the few genuinely frightening horror movies I saw in the past few years. I'm very happy I added it to my Netflix, because it's so hard to find a frightening and a "clever" horror movie these days. When the credits ended, I still felt the chill in my spine... Now I know it was not a real documentary, but I do have a question....was there ANY girl, who drowned and on whose death was the story based? Or was it all just a fiction? I saw the movie last night…..I was shaken to the core let me tell you. The whole time I thought there was a genuine footage added to the movie.
One of the few genuinely frightening horror movies I saw in the past few years. I’m very happy I added it to my Netflix, because it’s so hard to find a frightening and a “clever” horror movie these days.
