Nice review. I loved the movie. It is true that District 9 is a history lesson on South African politics, but it's not all about Apartheid – it is also very much about the recent violence against illegal aliens in South Africa. I was a relief worker helping refugees from other African countries who were attacted in their thousands by black South Africans who accused them of exactly the same things the people accuse the aliens of in District 9. Even the new refugee camp where the aliens from District 9 were going to be moved to is almost a carbon copy of the refugee camps set up for the illegal aliens in South Africa.

This movie looks excellent and have been waiting for this for awhile. Can see it being the movie of the summer.
